"Challenging Conventional Wisdom of the Project Team: Debunking the Three Greatest Myths of Project Leadership"
Chris Wright, MPM, PMP
All projects are inevitably delivered by people, not systems. Processes, methodologies, tools, and technologies are simply mechanisms intended to enhance the delivery of projects. Based on several years experience in leading large-scale, diverse project teams, Chris Wright has come face to face with some common myths in the project management discipline. The three most prevalent of these myths are: 1) There is no "I" in Team 2) Project leadership is half art, half science, and 3) Project success = Delivering on time, on budget, and on specification. Mr. Wright will share his perspective on how these myths must be reconsidered in light of current global business environment changes.
Chris Wright, MPM, PMP, is a certified Program/Project Management Professional (PMP) with over fourteen (14) years of Project Management and Organizational Leadership experience in a wide-array of industries.
