Ms. Andrea (Andy) Shirey, Senior Manager, Bearingpoint

Andrea J. Shirey, PMP, has worked in the project management arena for over 17 years.   Andrea is a Senior Manager with BearingPoint, Inc. and has led multiple large scale project and program engagements spanning the telecommunications, healthcare, medical device, pharmaceutical, entertainment and other industries. Andrea has been a leader in the development of the BearingPoint Delivery Framework  Methodology especially in the area of Project Management, Program Management, Quality Management and Change Management.  Andrea has provided guidance to a variety of Project and Program Management teams as well as developed and delivered training on Project Management guidelines and principles. 

Mr. Thornton White, Program Manager, ATI Corporation

Mr. White is a Senior Program Manager with ATI. He has over twenty years experience leading and working with government and commercial clients in a number of areas, including project planning and control, financial analyses, material acquisition and management, activity‑based cost (ABC) accounting and management, predictive and preventive maintenance programs, and engineering and chemical analyses. He is currently Program Manager for the American Metalcasting Consortium’s research programs, leading the development of new metalcasting technologies and processes that will produce high-quality, cost- effective castings while reducing the lead times for replacement parts in legacy weapons systems. He is also the Program Manager for the Cast Metals Coalition research programs that are conducting DOE-sponsored R&D to improve energy efficiency in the U.S. metalcasting industry. His responsibilities include the management and coordination of overall program progress, ensuring that program deliverables are meeting planned objectives on time and within budget. He has extensive expertise in planning, coordinating, and conducting meetings between dispersed consortia members.  Mr. White has a M.B.A. from The Citadel, a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Florida, and a B.S. in Chemistry from Jacksonville University.  He is a certified Project Management Professional and charter member of the Charleston PMI chapter.
