The Lowcountry Project of the Year Award recognizes the accomplishments of a project and the involved project team for superior performance and execution of exemplary project management in the Lowcountry area of South Carolina.

Participation
All projects that have had a meaningful impact to the Lowcountry of South Carolina are encouraged to participate.  Projects regardless of size or industry are eligible and PMI affiliation is not necessary.
 
Nomination
Anyone directly involved in or directly benefiting from the project may send in a nomination.  Familiarity with the project operations is necessary to complete the nomination request.

Selection Process
All nominees will be reviewed and selected by popular vote of the PMI Charleston Board of Directors.  Award will be presented during the PMI Charleston Annual Event.  Any member of the Board of Directors directly involved with a nominated project team will be removed from the review and voting proceedings.
